It's been quite some time since I last wrote words here in my blog. Recently I didn't have much to write, instead I found it more meaningful to post pictures that contains captions. As the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words. I'm sure the pics have painted atleasta million words now. =)

Well, life's been the same for me. Work my ass off, have a few games of dota and sleep, same tedious cycle over n over again. (oh yes did i forget to mention eat?)
When will I ever see the light at the end of this black black tunnel of SAF?

I still miss the BMT (basic military training) days though it was a phrase that every soldier dreads going through.. tough training and tekan-ing nonetheless, strong sense of brotherhood lingers. I still remember me and my buddies used to loiter around the corridors, peeking at this first sergeant who often stood at the 3rd floor opposite our block. Sometimes, we would play "hei bai pei" make the loser interact with her. Haha.. childish huh?

Few months later, I was besieged with an illness which limited me from combat training. I was downgraded to PES C and re-vocated to a storeman cum clerk after my BMT. Thats when I got posted to S4 logistics branch and got to know the girl we've always been curious about. Her name is Siti. She's hella' friendly and cheerful girl whose presence alone brightens everyone's day.

Last week she told us she's going to get married this weekend, with a guy from my camp which I thought was so sweet. I knew the guy too, whom I always jio to go smoke together. Quite a nice guy, quite a nice girl, quite a good match.

3pm in the afternoon, the mood was high. Every one was getting ready to knock off. then came a call from the Traffic Police. It was a call that shell-shocked everyone, hoping it never came. Siti met with a traffic accident on the BKE in which the whole motorbike flung into the canal. I am struggling to type this, she was pronounced dead on the spot. Pillion rider was seriously hurt, her future husband to be.

I miss making coffee in the office with her, miss waving to her from afar. Miss that sparkling smile of her's, and her jokes that never failed to brighten up my day. Now I know how it feels to lose a good friend, a great commander. Memories is all that's left.

P/S: My 1,478th dota Godlike streak is dedicated to 1SG Siti Nur Baidura. Rest in peace, Siti.

Hi once again. recently havent been posting much.. thanks to the preperation for the Dota competition. And guess what? Ah Meng(ah seng's cousin) said cannot register for the competition already.. wtf. So we met up for lan just now.. played two games and we pwned the opponent team hard.. =D so sad no more competition... quite sure we will atleast make it to the second round loh.

In office so bored. Watched a korean movie on the com.. 200 pounds beauty. V nice movie, almost cried watching it haha.. guess i'm going to get the dvd and watch it over and over again..

Hmm.. end of another shag day. loads of work to do in office.. f those companies who always hand in last minute indentment! lol hate Vincent too.. bloody bugger took MC and i have to rush all the work myself. *stress*

OMG.. i think my application for stay-out has been rejected.. which means very soon i wont be able to book out everyday.. only on weekends. pls tell me its not true!!

I'm off to play some dota..

NOOOOOOOO! my mom threw away my buddhist amulet(pidtha) jus now.. I was so angry lah. She was washing through my no. 4 army shirt when the amulet was inside the pocket.. just because our family are christians. Whats wrong with keeping a buddhist amulet if i'm a christian?
Hmm.. sometimes i dont like the way christians condemn other religion. Last time i went outfield that time hor, got this scorpion hiding inside my helmet loh.. lucky i check and found it think is the amulet saved me loh.

*DIALOGUE*
Mom: "What is this?! do you noe it is evil spirit and it will harm you?"

Jon: "but mom, its a buddhist amulet from thailand de.. it suppose to protect me from harm!"

Mom: "no such thing. the only one who will protect you from harm is Jesus *blah blah blah*.."

"Taiwan-made F-5F jet crashed into a military base in Hukou, Hsinchu county, killing its two Taiwanese crew and two Singaporean soldiers on the ground. Nine other Singaporeans were injured, two of them seriously. They were undergoing training at the base.
Eyewitness photographs showed that the pilots tried to steer the jet away from a residential area, instead of ejecting from the plane when it was going down."

Yesterday heard my colleagues talking about it.. (i'm a clerk in army logistics branch btw,) the "residential area", as cited in the news report was actually the bunk for the SAF camp located in Taiwan. Few of my mates were havin a puff by the corridors of the "residential area" when they saw the jet plane heading towards them at low altitude. can't imagine how that'd feel.. lol.

Well the reports about the "pilots steering the jet away" were exactly true. lucky for some, not for others like PTE Fan.

IF you were the pilot. would you have ejected to safety early, or try to save others at the expense of your own life?

Good day~ hmm where shall I start.. Nowadays blogging is somewhat the "in" thing. after so long, i kinda think it's about time i start a blog myself.. jus like how i hesitated to start a friendster account a few years back.. haha.
